✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed 'Asr, he would sometimes go to Banu 'Abd al-Ashhal and converse with them until he went down for Maghrib. He said: Abu Rafi' said: While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was hurrying to Maghrib, he passed by al-Baqi' and said: "Uff to you, uff to you!" twice. That alarmed me, and I fell back, thinking that he meant me. He said: "What is the matter with you? Walk." I said: "Did I do something wrong, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "What is that?" I said: "You said 'uff' to me." He said: "No, but this is the grave of so-and-so. I sent him as a collector to Banu so-and-so, and he stole a striped cloak, so he has now been clothed in the like of it from fire."
