✧ She saw the Messenger of God ﷺ throwing the pebbles at Jamrat al-‘Aqabah from the bottom of the valley, with a man behind him shielding him from the people so that they would not hit him with stones. He was saying: O people, let not some of you kill others. When you throw, throw pebbles the size of those used for khafdh. Then he turned away, and a woman came to him with her son saying: O Messenger of God, this son of mine is losing his mind; pray to God for him. He said to her: Bring me some water. She brought water in a stone vessel. He spat into it, washed his face [in it], then prayed over it, then said: Go and wash him with it, and seek healing from God, Mighty and Majestic. I said to her: Give me a little of it for this son of mine. I took some with my fingers and wiped my son's lip with it, and he became one of the healthiest people. Later I asked the woman what happened to her son. She said: He was cured, the best of cures.
