✧ I came to the Messenger of God ﷺ with some Muslim women to give him allegiance. We said: 'O Messenger of God, we have come to give you allegiance that we will not associate anything with God, will not steal, will not commit adultery, will not kill our children, will not bring slander we fabricate between our hands and feet, and will not disobey you in what is right.' She said: The Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'In what you are able and capable of.' She said: We said: 'God and His Messenger are more merciful to us than our own selves, so accept our allegiance, O Messenger of God.' He said: 'Go, for I have accepted your allegiance. My word to a hundred women is like my word to one woman.' She said: And the Messenger of God ﷺ did not shake hands with any woman among us.
