✧ She came with a son of hers, and she had treated his throat for an infection. The Messenger of God ﷺ said to her: 'Why do you treat your children's throats with this pressing? Use this Indian wood, for in it are seven cures, including pleurisy.' Then he took the child, and the child urinated on him, so he called for water and sprinkled it. Ibn Shihab said: 'This became the established practice.'

machine translationAl-Zuhrī narrates it, and there is disagreement about it from him. Shuʿayb b. Abī Ḥamzah narrated it from al-Zuhrī from Umm Qays as a mursal report (mursal). Ibn ʿUyaynah, Ibn Jurayj, Maʿmar, Ziyād b. Saʿd and Yūnus b. Yazīd contradicted him; they narrated it from al-Zuhrī from ʿUbaydullāh b. ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUtbah from Umm Qays, and this is more sound (aṣaḥḥ). In the report of Maʿmar from al-Zuhrī from ʿUbaydullāh, it says that Umm Qays came to the Prophet ﷺ, so it would be mursal, and the connected (muttaṣil) version is more sound.
