حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ وَعَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ وَرْدٍ رَجُلَانِ مِنْ أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ سَمِعَاهُ مِنَ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ
أَنَّهَا سَأَلَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ إِنَّ الزُّبَيْرَ رَجُلٌ شَدِيدٌ، وَيَأْتِينِي الْمِسْكِينُ فَأَتَصَدَّقُ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِهِ ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: ارْضَخِي وَلَا تُوعِي فَيُوعِي اللهُ عَلَيْكِ

✧ She asked the Prophet ﷺ: al-Zubayr is a hard man, and a poor person comes to me, so may I give charity from his house without his permission? The Messenger of God ﷺ said: Give, and do not hoard, lest God withhold from you.
