حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي وَهْبُ بْنُ كَيْسَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ قَالَتْ
مَرَّ بِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَنَا أُحْصِي شَيْئًا وَأَكِيلُهُ قَالَ: يَا أَسْمَاءُ، لَا تُحْصِي فَيُحْصِيَ اللهُ عَلَيْكِ. قَالَتْ: فَمَا أَحْصَيْتُ شَيْئًا بَعْدَ قَوْلِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ خَرَجَ مِنْ عِنْدِي وَلَا دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ، وَمَا نَفِدَ عِنْدِي مِنْ رِزْقِ اللهِ إِلَّا أَخْلَفَهُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ passed by me while I was counting something and weighing it. He said: 'O Asma', do not count, for God will count against you.' She said: I never counted anything after the saying of the Messenger of God ﷺ, whether it left my possession or entered upon me, and never did any provision from God run out with me except that God, Mighty and Majestic, replaced it.
