حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ قَالَتْ

جَاءَتْ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ امْرَأَةٌ فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ عَلَيَّ ضَرَّةً فَهَلْ عَلَيَّ جُنَاحٌ أَنْ أَتَشَبَّعَ مِنْ زَوْجِي بِمَا لَمْ يُعْطِنِي ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: الْمُتَشَبِّعُ بِمَا لَمْ يُعْطَ كَلَابِسِ ثَوْبَيْ زُورٍ

Translation

✧ A woman came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have a co-wife. Is there any sin on me if I pretend to be satisfied from my husband with what he has not given me?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The one who pretends to be given what he has not been given is like the one who wears two garments of falsehood."
