حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ قَالَتْ
أَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ امْرَأَةٌ فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ لِي ابْنَةً عُرَيِّسًا، وَإِنَّهُ أَصَابَتْهَا حَصْبَةٌ فَتَمَرَّقَ شَعُرُهَا أَفَأَصِلُهُ ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: لَعَنَ اللهُ الْوَاصِلَةَ وَالْمُسْتَوْصِلَةَ
Translation

✧ A woman came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have a daughter who is a bride, and she was afflicted with measles, so her hair fell out. May I join hair to it?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah has cursed the one who joins hair and the one who asks for it to be joined."
