✧ I placed water for the Prophet ﷺ to bathe, and he bathed from janabah. He tilted the vessel with his left hand over his right, and washed his palms three times. Then he put his hand into the vessel and poured water over his private part. Then he rubbed his hand on the wall — or on the ground — then rinsed his mouth, sniffed water into his nose, and washed his face three times and his forearms three times each. Then he poured water over his head three times, then poured water over the rest of his body. Then he moved aside and washed his feet.

machine translationAl-Aʿmash narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Abū Muʿāwiyah, Wakīʿ, Ḥafṣ, ʿĪsā b. Yūnus, al-Thawrī, Abū Ḥamzah al-Sukkarī and Muḥāḍir narrated it from al-Aʿmash, from Sālim, from Kurayb, from Ibn ʿAbbās, from Maymūnah. Abū Wakīʿ narrated it from al-Aʿmash, from Sālim, from Kurayb, from Maymūnah, and he omitted Ibn ʿAbbās from it. The first is more sound (aṣaḥḥ).
