حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِعَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَتْ

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ. وَإِنَّهُ جَاءَهُ وَفْدٌ فَشَغَلُوهُ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّهِمَا، فَصَلَّاهُمَا بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ used to pray two rak'ahs after Zuhr. A delegation came to him and they kept him busy, so he did not pray them, then he prayed them after 'Asr.
