حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأُمَوِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ أَنَّهَا سُئِلَتْ
أَنَّهَا سُئِلَتْ عَنْ قِرَاءَةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَقَالَتْ: كَانَ يُقَطِّعُ قِرَاءَتَهُ آيَةً آيَةً بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ الْحَمْدُ لِلهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ
Translation

✧ Regarding the reading of the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ, she said, "He would recite his recitation verse by verse: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. [Al-Fatiha:1] Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. [Al-Fatiha:2] The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. [Al-Fatiha:1] Master of the Day of Judgment."
