✧ Ukashah b. Mihsan went out from my presence in a group of men from Banu Asad wearing shirts on the evening of the Day of Sacrifice, then they returned to me at night carrying their shirts on their hands. She said: I said, 'O Ukashah, what is the matter with you that you went out wearing shirts, then you returned carrying your shirts on your hands?' He said, 'Good news, O Umm Qays. This was a day on which it was permitted for us, when we had thrown the pebbles at the Jamrah, to be released from everything we had been forbidden, except regarding women, until we circumambulated the House. And when evening came and we had not circumambulated it, we returned to a state of ihram just as we had been before throwing the pebbles, until we circumambulated it. So evening came and we had not circumambulated, so we took off our shirts as you see.'
