حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ
حِضْتُ وَأَنَا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي ثَوْبِهِ. قَالَتْ: فَانْسَلَلْتُ، فَقَالَ: أَنَفِسْتِ ؟ قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَجَدْتُ مَا تَجِدُ النِّسَاءُ. قَالَ: ذَاكَ مَا كُتِبَ عَلَى بَنَاتِ آدَمَ. قَالَتْ: فَانْطَلَقْتُ فَأَصْلَحْتُ مِنْ شَأْنِي فَاسْتَثْفَرْتُ بِثَوْبٍ، ثُمَّ جِئْتُ فَدَخَلْتُ مَعَهُ فِي لِحَافِهِ
Translation

✧ I menstruated while I was with the Prophet ﷺ under his garment. She said: So I slipped away. He said: 'Have you menstruated?' I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I have experienced what women experience.' He said: 'That is what has been decreed for the daughters of Adam.' She said: So I went and took care of my situation, and I tied a cloth around myself, then I came and entered with him under his blanket.
