✧ The Prophet ﷺ was in her house, and Fatimah came to him with a tray that had a roasted sheep. She brought it to him and he said to her, "Invite your husband and your sons." She said, "Then Ali, Al-Hasan, and Al-Husayn came and entered upon him. They sat down and ate from that roasted sheep while he was lying down on a mat, covered with a Khaybari cloth. She said, "And I was praying in the chamber, and Allah revealed this verse to him: 'Indeed, Allah intends to remove from you the impurity, O people of the Prophet's household, and to purify you with thorough purification.' (Quran 33:33) She said, "So he took the edge of the cloth and covered them with it, then he raised his hand and with it pointed towards the sky. Then he said, "O Allah, they are my family and my chosen ones, so remove impurity from them and purify them with thorough purification." She said, "I entered the house and said, 'And I am with you, O Messenger of Allah.' He said, 'Indeed, you are with good, indeed you are with good.' Abdul-Malik reported to me from Abu Layla, from Umm Salamah, with a similar narration from Ata, without any difference. Abdul-Malik reported to me from Dawud ibn Abi Awf, from Abu al-Jahhaaf, from Shahar ibn Hawshab, with a similar narration.
