✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his Companions arrived, and the fever of Yathrib had weakened them. The polytheists said: A people weakened by fever are coming to you. Allah informed the Prophet ﷺ of that, so he commanded his Companions to perform raml. The polytheists sat by the Hijr watching them. They performed raml and walked between the two corners. The polytheists said: Are these the ones you claim the fever has weakened? These are stronger than such-and-such. Ibn ʿAbbas said: Nothing prevented him from commanding them to perform raml in all the circuits except concern for them.
