حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ مَوْلَى قُرَيْبَةَ عَنْ قُرَيْبَةَ بِنْتِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ
نَهَى عَنِ الْوِصَالِ، فَقِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، فَإِنَّكَ تُوَاصِلُ ؟ قَالَ: إِنِّي أَبِيتُ يُطْعِمُنِي رَبِّي وَيَسْقِينِي

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade being in constant contact. So, it was asked, "O Messenger of Allah, do you not maintain relationships?" He replied, "Indeed, I spend my nights being fed and provided with drink by my Lord."
