حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّهَا صَنَعَتْ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ حُلَّةً مِنْ صُوفٍ سَوْدَاءَ فَلَبِسَهَا، فَلَمَّا عَرِقَ وَجَدَ رِيحَ الصُّوفِ فَقَذَفَهَا. قَالَ: وَأَحْسِبُهُ قَالَ: وَكَانَتْ تُعْجِبُهُ الرِّيحُ الطَّيِّبَةُ

Translation

✧ She made a black woolen garment for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he wore it. When he sweated, he noticed the smell of wool and threw it off. He said, 'I think he said: He liked pleasant scents.'
