حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ يَعْنِي الْجَدَلِيَّ يَقُولُ

سَأَلْتُ أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ خُلُقِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَقَالَتْ: لَمْ يَكُ فَاحِشًا وَلَا مُتَفَحِّشًا، وَلَا صَخَّابًا فِي الْأَسْوَاقِ. وَلَكِنْ يَعْفُو وَيَصْفَحُ

Translation

✧ I asked the Mother of the Believers, Aishah, about the character of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. She said: 'He was not obscene nor did he use obscene language, nor was he loud in the markets. Rather he forgave and pardoned.'
