✧ I never saw the Messenger of God ﷺ ever strike a servant of his, nor a woman of his, nor strike anything with his hand except when fighting in the path of God. Nor was anything ever taken from him such that he would take revenge on its owner, except if it was for God, Mighty and Majestic; but if it was for God, he would avenge it. Nor were two matters ever presented to him except that he chose the easier of them, unless it was a sin; and if it was a sin, he was the furthest of people from it.
