حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَائِشَةَ تَقُولُ

كَانَ [نَبِيُّ اللهِ] ﷺ يُصَلِّي كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً تِسْعًا قَائِمًا، وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ، ثُمَّ يُمْهِلُ حَتَّى يُؤَذَّنَ بِالْأُولَى مِنَ الصُّبْحِ فَيَرْكَعُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ

Translation

✧ The Prophet of Allah ﷺ used to pray every night thirteen rakʿahs: nine standing and two while sitting. Then he would pause until the first call for the morning prayer, then he would pray two rakʿahs.
