حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّهَا جَعَلَتْ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ بُرْدَةً مِنْ صُوفٍ سَوْدَاءَ، فَلَبِسَهَا، فَلَمَّا عَرِقَ فَوَجَدَ رِيحَ الصُّوفِ فَقَذَفَهَا. قَالَ: وَأَحْسِبُهُ قَالَ: وَكَانَ يُعْجِبُهُ الرِّيحُ الطَّيِّبَةُ

Translation

✧ She made for the Prophet ﷺ a cloak of black wool, and he wore it. When he sweated and noticed the smell of wool, he threw it aside. He said: I think he said: He used to like pleasant scents.
