✧ We came to Aishah, may God have mercy on her, to ask her about a fasting person touching his spouse, but we felt shy and got up before asking her. We walked, I do not know how far, then said: We came to ask her about a need, then we go back before asking her. So we returned and said: O Mother of the Believers, we came to ask you about something, but we felt shy and got up. She said: What is it? Ask about whatever occurs to you. We said: Would the Prophet ﷺ touch his spouse while fasting? She said: He used to do that, but he had more control over his desire than you.
