حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ الْمَعْنَى عَنْ الْمِقْدَامِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ
كُنْتُ أَكُونُ حَائِضًا، فَآخُذُ الْعَرْقَ فَأَتَعَرَّقُهُ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ، فَأُنَاوِلُهُ النَّبِيَّ فَيَضَعُ فَاهُ عَلَى مَوْضِعِ فِيَّ، وَأَشْرَبُ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ، وَأُنَاوِلُهُ النَّبِيَّ [ ﷺ ] فَيَضَعُ فَاهُ عَلَى مَوْضِعِ فِيَّ.

✧ I would be menstruating, and I would take a bone with meat on it and gnaw on it while menstruating, then hand it to the Prophet ﷺ, and he would place his mouth on the spot where my mouth had been. And I would drink while menstruating, and hand it to the Prophet ﷺ, and he would place his mouth on the spot where my mouth had been.
