حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
إِذَا نَعَسَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَلْيَنَمْ، فَلَعَلَّهُ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَسْتَغْفِرَ فَيَسُبَّ نَفْسَهُ.

✧ When one of you becomes drowsy in his prayer, let him sleep, for perhaps he intends to seek forgiveness and ends up cursing himself.
