حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ سُئِلَتْ عَنْ رَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ فَقَالَتْ

أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ سُئِلَتْ عَنْ رَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ فَقَالَتْ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُخَفِّفُهُمَا، قَالَتْ: فَأَظُنُّهُ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ بِنَحْوٍ مِنْ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ و قُلْ هُوَ اللهُ أَحَدٌ.

✧ Aishah was asked about the two rak'ahs of Fajr. She said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to make them light. She said: I think he used to recite approximately Qul ya ayyuha al-kafirun and Qul huwa Allahu ahad.
