✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came down and prayed in the mosque one night during Ramadan, and some people prayed behind him following his prayer. Then he came down the second night, and they were more than that. Then they increased on the third night. When it was the fourth night, the mosque was packed with its people, but the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not come down. They said about that, “What is the matter with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he did not come down?” He heard their words. When morning came, he said, “O people, I heard your words. Nothing prevented me from coming down to you except fear that standing in prayer during this month would be made obligatory upon you.”
