حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ شَرِيكِ بْنِ أَبِي نَمِرٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍأَنَّ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَخْرُجُ إِذَا كَانَتْ لَيْلَةُ عَائِشَةَ إِذَا ذَهَبَ ثُلُثَا اللَّيْلِ إِلَى الْبَقِيعِ، فَيَقُولُ: السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَهْلَ دَارِ قَوْمٍ مُؤْمِنِينَ، فَإِنَّا وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَمَا تُوعَدُونَ غَدًا مُؤَجَّلُونَ. قَالَ أَبُو عَامِرٍ: تُؤَجَّلُونَ، وَإِنَّا إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ بِكُمْ لَاحِقُونَ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to leave when it was the night of Aisha, when two-thirds of the night had passed, to go to Al-Baqi' and say, "Peace be upon you, people of a believing household. Indeed, we and you are destined for tomorrow, but we would catch up." Abu 'Aamir said, "You are not catching up, but indeed, with the will of Allah, we will catch up with you."
