حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ فَقَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سِمَاكٌ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ
أُتِيتُ وَأَنَا نَائِمٌ فِي رَمَضَانَ، فَقِيلَ لِي: إِنَّ اللَّيْلَةَ لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ. قَالَ: فَقُمْتُ وَأَنَا نَاعِسٌ، فَتَعَلَّقْتُ بِبَعْضِ أَطْنَابِ فُسْطَاطِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَإِذَا هُوَ يُصَلِّي، قَالَ: فَنَظَرْتُ فِي تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةِ، فَإِذَا هِيَ لَيْلَةُ ثَلَاثٍ وَعِشْرِينَ

✧ I was approached while I was sleeping in Ramadan, and it was said to me: Tonight is the Night of Decree. He said: I got up while I was drowsy and clung to one of the ropes of the Messenger of God's ﷺ tent, and there he was praying. He said: I looked during that night, and it was the twenty-third night.
