حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ الرِّشْكِ عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ قَالَتْ

سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ عَنِ الْغُسْلِ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ، فَقَالَتْ: إِنَّ الْمَاءَ لَا يُنَجِّسُهُ شَيْءٌ، قَدْ كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ، يَبْدَأُ فَيَغْسِلُ يَدَيْهِ.

Translation

✧ I asked ʿĀʾishah about bathing from major ritual impurity, and she said, “Water is not made impure by anything. I used to bathe, I and the Messenger of God ﷺ, from a single vessel; he would begin and wash his hands.”
