حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ زَائِدَةَ عَنْ السُّدِّيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبَهِيِّ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ: أَيُّ النَّاسِ خَيْرٌ ؟ قَالَ: الْقَرْنُ الَّذِي أَنَا فِيهِ، ثُمَّ الثَّانِي، ثُمَّ الثَّالِثُ.

Translation

✧ A man asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, “Which people are best?” He said, “The generation in which I am, then the second, then the third.”
