حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مُبَارَكٍ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ وَيُونُسَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

أَوَّلُ مَا بُدِئَ بِهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنَ الْوَحْيِ الرُّؤْيَا الصَّادِقَةُ أَوْ قَالَ: الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ شَكَّ ابْنُ مُبَارَكٍ قَالَتْ: وَكَانَ لَا يَرَى رُؤْيَا إِلَّا جَاءَتْ مِثْلَ فَلَقِ الصُّبْحِ.

✧ The first thing the Messenger of Allah ﷺ began with of revelation was true dreams, or he said righteous dreams—Ibn Mubarak was uncertain. She said, 'He never saw a dream except that it came like the break of dawn.'
