✧ When the verse of choice was revealed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ called me and said, 'O Aishah, I want to mention something to you, but do not decide anything without your parents.' She said, 'What is it?' She said, 'Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ called me and recited this verse to me: "O Prophet, say to your wives..." and the entire verse, 'If you desire Allah and His Messenger and the Hereafter.' She said, 'I said, "I have chosen Allah and His Messenger."' She said, 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was pleased with that.'
