حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أُسَامَةَ عَنْ مُوسَىِ بْنِ سَرْجِسٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ
رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَمُوتُ، وَعِنْدَهُ قَدَحٌ فِيهِ مَاءٌ يُدْخِلُ يَدَهُ فِي الْقَدَحِ وَيَمْسَحُ وَجْهَهُ بِالْمَاءِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى سَكَرَاتِ الْمَوْتِ.

✧ I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was dying, and there was a cup with water in it. He would put his hand in the cup and wipe his face with the water, saying: 'O Allah, help me against the agonies of death.'
