✧ While I was with her, a man who had been beaten for wine was brought past her door, and she heard the people's noise and said, 'What is this?' I said, 'A man who got drunk from wine and was beaten.' She said, 'Glory be to Allah! I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: The drinker does not drink when he drinks and is a believer—meaning wine—nor does the fornicator fornicate when he fornicates and is a believer, nor does the thief steal when he steals and is a believer, nor does someone plunder a plunder of high value, to which people raise their eyes, while he is a believer. So beware, beware!'
