حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّ بُكَيْرًا حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ حِينَ دَخَلَ الْبَيْتَ وَجَدَ فِيهِ صُورَةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَصُورَةَ مَرْيَمَ، فَقَالَ: أَمَّا هُمْ فَقَدْ سَمِعُوا أَنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ لَا تَدْخُلُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ صُورَةٌ، هَذَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ مُصَوَّرًا، فَمَا بَالُهُ يَسْتَقْسِمُ. ؟!

✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the House, he found in it an image of Ibrahim and an image of Maryam. He said: As for them, they have heard that the angels do not enter a house in which there is an image. This is Ibrahim depicted, so what is the matter with him that he is casting lots?!
