حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ
لَمَّا مَرِضَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَخَذْتُ بِيَدِهِ فَجَعَلْتُ أُمِرُّهَا عَلَى صَدْرِهِ وَدَعَوْتُ بِهَذِهِ الْكَلِمَاتِ أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ فَانْتَزَعَ يَدَهُ مِنْ يَدِي وَقَالَ أَسْأَلُ اللهَ ﷻ الرَّفِيقَ الْأَعْلَى الْأَسْعَدَ
Translation

✧ When the Prophet ﷺ fell ill, I took his hand and passed it over his chest while supplicating with these words: Remove the affliction, O Lord of the people. He pulled his hand from mine and said: I ask God ﷻ for the highest friend, the most blessed.
