حَدَّثَنَا قُرَيْشُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ شَبِيبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنْ مُقَاتِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ عَنْ عَمَّتِهِ عَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ
أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ كُنَّا نَنْبِذُ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ غُدْوَةً فِي سِقَاءٍ وَلَا نُخَمِّرُهُ وَلَا نَجْعَلُ لَهُ عَكَرًا فَإِذَا أَمْسَى تَعَشَّى فَشَرِبَ عَلَى عَشَائِهِ فَإِنْ بَقِيَ شَيْءٌ فَرَّغْتُهُ أَوْ صَبَبْتُهُ ثُمَّ نَغْسِلُ السِّقَاءَ فَنَنْبِذُ فِيهِ مِنَ الْعِشَاءِ فَإِذَا أَصْبَحَ تَغَدَّى فَشَرِبَ عَلَى غَدَائِهِ فَإِنْ فَضَلَ شَيْءٌ صَبَبْتُهُ أَوْ فَرَّغْتُهُ ثُمَّ غَسَلَ السِّقَاءَفَقِيلَ لَهُ أَفِيهِ غَسَلَ السِّقَاءَ مَرَّتَيْنِ؟ قَالَ مَرَّتَيْنِ

✧ Aishah said: We used to make nabidh for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the morning in a water-skin, and we would not cover it or put any dregs in it. When evening came, he would eat supper and drink with his supper. If anything remained, I would empty it or pour it out, then wash the water-skin and make nabidh in it from the evening. When morning came, he would eat lunch and drink with his lunch. If anything was left, I would pour it out or empty it, then wash the water-skin. It was said to him: In it, did he wash the water-skin twice? He said: Twice.
