حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ خَوَّاتِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ عَمَّتِهِ أُمِّ عَمْرٍو بِنْتِ خَوَّاتٍ
أَنَّ امْرَأَةً قَالَتْ لِعَائِشَةَ: إِنَّ ابْنَتِي أَصَابَهَا مَرَضٌ، فَسَقَطَ شَعَرُهَا، فَهُوَ مُوَفَّرٌ لَا أَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ أُمَشِّطَهُ وَهِيَ عَرُوسٌ، أَفَأَصِلُ فِي شَعَرِهَا ؟ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْوَاصِلَةَ, وَالْمُسْتَوْصِلَةَ
Translation

✧ A woman said to Aishah: "My daughter has been afflicted with an illness, and her hair has fallen out. It is abundant, and I cannot comb it, and she is a bride. May I add hair to her hair?" Aishah said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed the one who adds hair and the one who has it added."
