حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو صَخْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي قُسَيْطٍ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ حَدَّثَتْهُ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ خَرَجَ مِنْ عِنْدِهَا لَيْلًا, قَالَتْ: فَغِرْتُ عَلَيْهِ، قَالَتْ: فَجَاءَ فَرَأَى مَا أَصْنَعُ، فَقَالَ: مَا لَكِ يَا عَائِشَةُ, أَغِرْتِ ؟ قَالَتْ: فَقُلْتُ: وَمَا لِي أَنْ لَا يَغَارَ مِثْلِي عَلَى مِثْلِكَ ؟! فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: أَفَأَخَذَكِ شَيْطَانُكِ ؟ قَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ, أَوَمَعِي شَيْطَانٌ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ. قُلْتُ: وَمَعَ كُلِّ إِنْسَانٍ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ. قُلْتُ: وَمَعَكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، وَلَكِنَّ رَبِّي عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَعَانَنِي عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى أَسْلَمَ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out from her at night. She said: I felt jealous of him. She said: He came and saw what I was doing, and said: "What is the matter with you, O Aishah? Are you jealous?" She said: I said: "And why should someone like me not be jealous over someone like you?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Has your shaytan taken hold of you?" She said: "O Messenger of Allah, is there a shaytan with me?" He said: "Yes." I said: "And with every person?" He said: "Yes." I said: "And with you, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Yes, but my Lord, Mighty and Majestic, helped me against him until he submitted."
