✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would not let a day pass without visiting all of us, one woman after another. He would come close and touch without intercourse, until he reached the one whose turn it was, and he would spend the night with her.

What scholars said about it

In their own words, as Hadith Unlocked records them. They are shown, not summarised into a grade.

  • Mālik b. Anas

machine translationIn its chain of transmission is ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Abī al-Zinād, who has been criticized by more than one scholar. Mālik deemed him trustworthy (wathqahu), and al-Bukhārī cited him as corroborating support (istashhada bihi). Hence, al-Ḥākim recorded it in his Mustadrak with wording close to that of Abū Dāwūd, and then said: "This ḥadīth has a sound chain of transmission (ṣaḥīḥ al-isnād)."
