✧ I asked Aishah: How did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray in Ramadan? She said: His prayer in Ramadan and outside Ramadan was the same. He would pray eleven rakʿahs: four rakʿahs, do not ask about their beauty and length; then four rakʿahs, do not ask about their beauty and length; then three rakʿahs. I said: O Messenger of Allah, do you sleep before performing witr? He said: My eyes sleep but my heart does not sleep.
