حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ
مَا مِنْ مُصِيبَةٍ تُصِيبُ الْمُسْلِمَ إِلَّا كَفَّرَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ بِهَا عَنْهُ، حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةِ يُشَاكُهَا
Translation

✧ No affliction befalls a Muslim but that Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, expiates his sins through it, even a thorn that pricks him.
