حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

خُذُوا مِنَ الْعَمَلِ مَا تُطِيقُونَ، فَإِنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَا يَمَلُّ حَتَّى تَمَلُّوا. قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: وَكَانَ أَحَبُّ الصَّلَاةِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مَا دَاوَمَ عَلَيْهَا وَإِنْ قَلَّتْ, قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: وَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا صَلَّى صَلَاةً دَاوَمَ عَلَيْهَا.

✧ Take on of deeds what you can bear, for Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, does not tire until you tire. 'A'ishah said: The prayer most beloved to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was that which one persists in, even if it is small. 'A'ishah said: When the Prophet ﷺ prayed a prayer, he would persist in it.
