حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
قِيلَ لِعَائِشَةَ: يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، رُئِيَ هَذَا الشَّهْرُ لِتِسْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ ! قَالَتْ: وَمَا يُعْجِبُكُمْ مِنْ ذَاكَ، لَمَا صُمْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ تِسْعًا وَعِشْرِينَ أَكْثَرُ مِمَّا صُمْتُ ثَلَاثِينَ
Translation

✧ It was said to 'A'ishah: 'O Mother of the Believers, this month was sighted as twenty-nine [days]!' She said: 'What is so surprising about that? I fasted twenty-nine [days] with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ more often than I fasted thirty.'
