حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ
إِنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ يَصِلُونَ الصُّفُوفَ

Maʿmar al-Baḥrānī narrated it from Qabīṣah, from al-Thawrī, from Usāmah b. Zayd, from Hishām b. ʿUrwah, from his father, and that is an error on his part. It is also narrated from Ḥusayn b. Ḥafṣ al-Aṣbahānī, from al-Thawrī, from Hishām b. ʿUrwah, from his father, from ʿĀʾishah, without mentioning Usāmah. The correct one is the statement of those who said: from Usāmah b. Zayd, from ʿUthmān b. ʿUrwah.
