حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَتْ
طَرَقَتْنِي الْحَيْضَةُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ وَأَنَا إِلَى جَنْبِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَتَأَخَّرْتُ، فَقَالَ: مَا لَكِ أَنُفِسْتِ ؟ قَالَتْ: لَا، وَلَكِنِّي حِضْتُ. قَالَ: فَشُدِّي عَلَيْكِ إِزَارَكِ ثُمَّ عُودِي.

✧ Menstruation came upon me at night while I was beside the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so I moved back. He said, "What is the matter with you? Have you started your menses?" She said, "No, but I have menstruated." He said, "Tighten your waist-wrapper upon yourself, then return."
