✧ A Jewish woman entered upon me and said: 'The punishment of the grave is from urine.' I said: 'You lie.' She said: 'Yes, indeed; we cut off from it the cloth and the skin.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out to prayer while our voices had risen. He said: 'What is this?' I told him what she had said. He said: 'She has spoken the truth.' She [the narrator] said: From that day onward, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not pray any prayer except that he said at the end of the prayer: 'O Allah, Lord of Jibril, Mika'il, and Israfil, protect me from the heat of the Fire and the punishment of the grave.'
