حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ وَأَبُو أُسَامَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ الْمَعْنَى عَنْ أَبِيهِعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
لَوْلَا حَدَاثَةُ عَهْدِ قَوْمِكِ بِالْكُفْرِ، لَنَقَضْتُ الْكَعْبَةَ، ثُمَّ جَعَلْتُهَا عَلَى أُسِّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ، فَإِنَّ قُرَيْشًا يَوْمَ بَنَتْهَا اسْتَقْصَرَتْ، وَلَجَعَلْتُ لَهَا خَلْفًا
Translation

✧ Were it not that your people have recently left disbelief, I would demolish the Kaʿbah and rebuild it on the foundations of Ibrahim ﷺ, for Quraysh when they built it made it too small, and I would make a back door for it.
