✧ Sawdah went out for her needs at night after the veil was imposed on them. She said, "She was a large-built woman and Umar agreed with her. He saw her and called out, 'O Sawdah, by Allah, you do not hide anything from us when you go out. Look at how you go out or what you do.' So she turned back and returned to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he was on the evening meal. She informed him of what Umar had said to her. He had a vein in his hand, and he was inspired with words. Then it was lifted from him, and the vein was in his hand. He said, 'Indeed, you are permitted to go out for your need.'"
