machine translationIt was narrated by Ḥammād b. Salamah, Wuhayb, Maʿmar, Ibn Jurayj, al-Ḥārith b. Nabhān, Sufyān b. ʿUyaynah, Ibn ʿUlayyah, ʿAbd al-Wahhāb al-Thaqafī, al-Ḥasan b. Abī Jaʿfar, Sallām b. Abī Muṭīʿ and ʿUbaydullāh b. ʿAmr al-Raqqī, from Ayyūb, from Abū Qilābah, from ʿAbdullāh b. Yazīd, from ʿĀʾishah, from the Prophet ﷺ. There is disagreement about Ḥammād b. Zayd: Sulaymān b. Ḥarb and Musaddad narrated it from him as a statement stopping at the Companion (mawqūf) and did not raise it to the Prophet, and Qutaybah b. Saʿīd followed them in that, narrating it from Ḥammād b. Zayd in the same way. Others besides them narrated it from Ḥammād as raised to the Prophet (marfūʿ), and its being raised is sound (ṣaḥīḥ).
